POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR 

Open: June 9, 2025         Close: June 13, 2025

POSITION:            Assistant Football Coach

                              Ochoa Middle School                              

SCHEDULE:            2025-2026 Season (August-October) 

SALARY:                Based on the 2025-2026 Coaching Salary Schedule

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)

• Current First Aid/CPR card or willing to obtain
• Type 2 License or willing to obtain 
• Ability to meet WIAA coaching requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• District training regarding concussion management or ability and willingness to attend training
• Other required district training or ability and willingness to attend training
• Previous Coaching Experience 
• Previous Football Coaching Experience

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)

• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum five (5) years of coaching experince in Dance at high school or college level
• Previous experience as a head coach or varsity assistant
• Bilingual English/Spanish
