Ramp Health is actively seeking a licensed Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our on-site team in Sandusky, Ohio. Location: Sandusky, OH
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Licensure Requirement: Candidate must hold a current Ohio Athletic Training License at time of hire
Provide immediate response and care for workplace injuries, including OSHA-compliant First Aid
Deliver one-on-one and group coaching sessions focused on injury prevention, ergonomics, body mechanics, and workplace safety
Conduct site safety walks, support emergency response drills, and perform regular checks on AEDs and other safety equipment
Identify individual risk factors through proactive observation and employee engagement, offering coaching and behavior-change strategies to reduce injury risk
Conduct physical assessments and coordinate with external medical providers as needed
Accurately document all coaching sessions, evaluations, and injury responses while maintaining confidentiality
Collaborate with safety teams, HR professionals, and site vendors to support a coordinated health and injury prevention strategy
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification (BOC)
Licensed in the State of Ohio
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable, professional demeanor
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and engage with a diverse workforce
Proficient in documentation and comfortable using EMR/SOAP note formats
CPR/AED Instructor Certification
Prior experience in corporate wellness, occupational health, or ergonomics
Experience using motivational interviewing or other coaching techniques
Ability to perform blood pressure readings and other basic clinical assessments
