Job Summary:
Richland R-IV School District is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Head High School Baseball Coach to lead our Junior Varsity and Varsity Baseball Teams. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field while fostering a culture of sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the high school baseball program, including player development, game strategy, and team management.
- Plan and conduct effective practices to enhance individual and team performance.
- Provide leadership in character development, discipline, and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with assistant coaches, school administration, and athletic department staff.
- Ensure compliance with Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) regulations and district policies.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school staff.
- Organize and oversee off-season conditioning and training programs.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience (preferably at the high school level or higher).
- Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and game strategy.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to mentor student-athletes and promote academic success.
- Must meet all MSHSAA coaching requirements, including CPR certification and background check.
