Blake is seeking a dedicated and passionate C Boys' Basketball Coach for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. We're looking for a coach who is committed to developing young athletes both on and off the court. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and strategy, as well as a proven ability to mentor and inspire high school students.
This is a seasonal, part-time position that runs from November to March. The season includes practices and games.
Responsibilities
Coaching and Development: Plan and conduct practices that focus on skill development, team strategy, and player conditioning.
Game Management: Coach the team during all scheduled games, including home and away contests.
Player Mentorship: Foster a positive and inclusive team environment, emphasizing sportsmanship, teamwork, and accountability.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of attendance and communicate effectively with players, parents, and the athletic department.
Safety: Ensure the safety of all student-athletes by adhering to school and Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) rules and regulations.

Qualifications
Previous coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred.
Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and game strategy.
Demonstrated ability to positively influence and motivate young athletes.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained before the start of the season.
