Addison Community Schools is seeking a Junior Varsity Football Coach for the 2025 football season. Addison is looking for individuals who have prior football coaching experience at the high school or college level and for individuals who have experience running a successful football program. 

Job functions may include, but are not limited to: 

• Developing and communicating clear and specific goals for the team and individual players 
• Maintaining open and honest communication with students, parents, other coaches, and Athletic Director 
• Developing and demonstrating a good knowledge base of best practices specific to their coaching arena 
• Working with the head football coach in regards to the team budget 
• Supporting and collaborating with coaches in other athletic programs
• Organizing all practices and games
• Supporting student academic expectations, responsibilities, and achievements
• Promoting and enforcing the student-athlete code of conduct
• Connecting athletic experiences with life experiences
• Providing an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration among coaches and players
• Becoming an integral part of and developing rapport with the Addison Community including administration, coaches, parents, Athletic Booster Club, and students
• Modeling good sportsmanship always
• Creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for student athletes
• Understanding their leadership style and its impact on student-athletes 
• Game and practice attire should be professional and appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned
