IN THIS ROLE: Join a passionate team at Avondale Middle School School where innovation, collaboration, and student-centered learning thrive. You will provide instruction of high school athletes in the fundamental skills and strategy of basketball and also instill moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and self-confidence.
WHAT WE NEED:
1. Experience Coaching
2. Knowledge/experience scheduling practices and off season workouts
3. Ability to speak clearly and concisely both in oral and written communication.
4. Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
WHAT YOU NEED:
1. Teach techniques and fundamentals of sport.
2. Be able to demonstrate all skills necessary for the sport.
3. Be knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sport.
4. Assume the responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities being used.
5. Conduct structured practices that stay within the confines of the specified times at the Athletic Department.
6.Be an example of good character and sportsmanship to team at all times.
7. Conduct fundraisers to provide money for team supplies and needs.
8. Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
9. Ability to work 10-20 hours per week.
