Athletic Director

Under direction of the school administration, the Athletic Director provides Christ-centered leadership in planning, implementation, coordination, supervision of the MGAES athletic programs.  Manage and coach the school sport programs (basketball, soccer, volleyball, as well as additional athletic program needs of the school).

Prior experience with scheduling, working with volunteer coaches, middle school sports programming, and sports league participation is highly desired.

Requirements:

• Clear background check through the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
• Have First Aid/CPR certification
• Completion of course in Concussion Awareness in Athletics
• Able to provide coach and leadership in distinctly Adventist sports programming
• Models to students and staff a personal relationship with Jesus,
• Exhibits a lifestyle supportive of Christian and Biblical principles,
• Helps to support the spiritual leadership of school administration.
  

Church Employment: Applicants should have a love for Jesus and for sharing Him with others.  They should be able to show a personal devotional life and a desire to follow Jesus and a willingness to serve Him in all areas of work.  They must be a member in good standing with attendance at a local Seventh-day Adventist Church.
