Preferred Experience
- Experience working with a diverse range of athletes in various sports is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, along with appropriate treatment methods.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) and related software
Required Licensure/Education
- Completed program and obtained advanced degree in Athletic Training from an accredited institution is required.
- Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers certification is required.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Illinois is required.
- Must have obtained licensure as an Athletic Trainer from the state of Illinois by 90 days after the date of hire.
- Current CPR/AED certification for healthcare providers is required.
Preferred Education
- Masters degree in Athletic Training or a related field is preferred.
