Pay Rate: $20.45-$33.67 hourly

Job Description:

Conducts “hands-on” diagnostic evaluation and/or screenings and/or treatment for injured athletes. Educates athletic support staff and promotes FMC in the community with the school staff, students and parents

  • Student athlete management (quality care, documentation, progression and prevention).
  • Attends all home sporting events, all sports as able and as defined in contract. 
  • Responsible for taking all needed supplies to games/practices.
  • On-going collaboration with athletic director, coaches, parents, supervisors and athletes others PRN such as physicians, therapists and/or parents.
  • Assist with free physical events for the student athletes.
  • Performs work in accordance with established quality and safety standards and the OT/PT/ATC board standards.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

Education:  Graduate of an accredited Athletic Training Program and possess a VALID license to practice in the state of Ohio, Certified athletic trainer by the Board of Certification.
Experience:  One year of experience preferred.     

 

Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often.
