Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions to develop the team’s skills and strategy.
• Evaluate athletes' skills and assign team positions.
• Monitor and mentor student-athletes’ academic progress.
• Enforce discipline both on and off the court and model sportsmanship in all aspects of the role.
• Communicate effectively with parents, coaching staff, school staff, and students.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a basketball coach or assistant coach at the middle school level or higher.
• Strong understanding of basketball rules, strategies, and training techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Terms of Employment:  Seasonal
Salary:  Based on district coaching supplement pay scale
