A Middle School Coach is responsible for all aspects of the program as indicated by the Athletic Director, while abiding by the rules and regulations established by the California Interscholastic Federation, the league, and Rancho Community Church & Schools. He/She shall assist in implementing an exemplary sports program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student-athlete. This position is based on a seasonal basis and the position sitting as an at-will coach can be terminated at any time at the discretion of the supervisor or athletic director.
Experience: At least 2 years of coaching experience at any level.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the sport as it pertains to the California Interscholastic Federation
Demonstrate strong leadership in player and staff development
Possess strong communication and organizational skills
Commitment to seeking to grow in these areas through additional training.
Hold CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Pass NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course with Certificate
Pass NFHS Concussion Course with Certificate
Pass NFHS Heat Illness Prevention Course with Certificate
Have proof of negative TB screening within the last four years
Education: Bachelor’s preferred
