Position Overview:The Head Field Hockey Coach and Athletic Administration Coordinator is expected to direct the day-to-day operation and development of the field hockey program at Albertus Magnus College.
As the Head Field Hockey Coach, this individual is accountable for building the requisite roster size and developing a student-athlete recruitment plan to ensure the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of an appropriate roster. The Head Coach implements a strength and conditioning program and plans for and manages practices and games. The Head Coach also must provide positive guidance to each student-athlete that fosters and develops the premise that athletics are an integral component of the student experience, and that athletic achievement must not come at the expense of academic success.
Additionally, this individual will serve in an administrative role as the department’s Athletic Administration Coordinator, providing general assistance in all facets of day-to-day operations.
This position may assume the title/role of Assistant Athletic Director or Senior Woman Administrator based on qualifications and experience
