JV Baseball Coach

Job Summary:
Brookfield is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable JV Baseball Coach to join our dynamic coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the technical aspects of Baseball, with the ability to lead and inspire student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing daily practice sessions for the JV baseball team.
• Provide technical coaching and mentorship for athletes, helping them improve their skills in various aspects of the game (e.g., hitting, fielding, pitching, baserunning).
• Cultivate a positive, competitive, and disciplined team atmosphere.
• Monitor and assess players’ development, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of athletes during practices, games, and events.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CT Coaching Certificate.
• Must have current 1st Aid/CPR Certification and Concussion Module certification.
• Extensive knowledge of baseball’s technical aspects and a commitment to staying current with new strategies and theories.
• Previous coaching experience at the high school or JV level is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with athletes, parents, and fellow coaching staff.
• Passion for teaching the game of baseball and helping athletes develop their skills both on and off the field.
