Position Overview:
Calvary Christian Academy is seeking passionate and dedicated Soccer Coaches to lead and develop our Boys and Girls Soccer Teams from Middle School through High School. The ideal candidates will foster a positive team culture, promote sportsmanship, and guide players in achieving their fullest potential both on and off the field. Coaches will be responsible for planning and conducting practices, developing game strategies, and mentoring student-athletes in alignment with the school’s Christian values and mission.
We are looking for more than one coach to effectively cover both boys’ and girls’ programs, ensuring each team receives strong leadership and support. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire young athletes, build competitive programs, and help shape their character through sports.
Essential Job Functions:
- Plan and lead structured practices that emphasize skill development, teamwork, and competitive excellence.
- Develop and implement effective game strategies and adjustments.
- Model and reinforce Christian values, sportsmanship, and integrity at all times.
- Provide mentorship to student-athletes, encouraging growth both athletically and spiritually.
- Communicate regularly with parents, athletic staff, and administration regarding team progress and needs.
- Oversee the care, use, and accountability of athletic equipment and uniforms.
- Ensure compliance with school, league, and athletic policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Prior coaching experience at the school, club, or collegiate level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategies, and training techniques.
- Ability to mentor and encourage young athletes within a Christian educational environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Must be committed to upholding and modeling the mission and values of Calvary Christian Academy.
