Volunteer Assistant 9th Grade Boys Basketball Coach

Delaware County Christian School Athletics is excited to welcome a Volunteer Assistant 9th Grade Boys Basketball Coach to join our program beginning in late fall 2025.

We are looking for someone who brings both enthusiasm and care for the game of basketball, and who desires to invest in the lives of student-athletes. Ideal candidates will value sportsmanship and safety, encourage growth both on and off the court, and support the mission of our athletics program to honor the Lord in all we do.

What We’re Looking For:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Alignment with the school’s Statement of Faith (available on our website)
  
• Previous playing or coaching experience (high school, college, or beyond) is a plus but not required

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with running practices (typically between 3:00–7:00 pm)
• Help with rosters, game preparation, and supporting players during competition
• Provide encouragement, guidance, and mentorship to student-athletes
• Be willing to help with team transportation, if needed
• Support the overall needs of the team as they arise

This is a wonderful opportunity to combine a love for basketball with a heart for discipleship and service.
