The Head Women’s Basketball Coach/Athletic Administrator is responsible for administering, managing and continually improving the Lasell University Women’s Basketball program. The Head Coach will have additional administrative and home event management responsibilities out of season as assigned by the AVP of Athletics. It is required that the candidate have a thorough and complete understanding of all Lasell University, Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) guidelines. Regular day, evening and weekend hours are required. This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President for Athletics.
Lasell University invites applications for the 12-month, full-time position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach/Athletic Administrator. Lasell University is a member of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and the NCAA Division III and offers 17 varsity sports. Lasell’s 50-acre campus is located in Newton, MA, a community located ten miles west of Boston. The co-educational institution, offering professionally oriented baccalaureate and master’s degree programs, has an enrollment of 1200 full-time undergraduate students.

The Head Women’s Basketball Coach will
Direct all facets of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s basketball program to include but not limited to:
Fulfill all tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the AVP of Athletics.
Minimum Education level: Bachelor's Degree
Computer skills: Microsoft Office
Other Requirements of the Job: Prior recruiting/admissions experience; prior coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level; knowledge of NCAA Division III guidelines; and desire to build a strong Division III program, are required qualities.
CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION OR LICENSURE REQUIRED BY THE JOB:
Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required.
